Having graduated with a 4 year MSci in Biological Sciences from University College London (UCL), I have also developed a strong interest in new technologies, behaviours, art and creativity that led me to the field of Learning Sciences. Today, I would like to tackle the challenge of Education to science. My deep motivation is to raise awareness and transform behaviours in order to build a sustainable, learning and happy society and I believe that sciences education is key to face environmental and social issues. With that in mind, I wish to develop innovative projects that make scientific knowledge accessible and inspiring. I would like to question how can art and entertainment positively interact with learning to engage a wider community with life sciences. Most importantly, I want to explore how research in Learning Sciences can help designing evidence- and practice-based educative experiences, and how feedback can in turn inform research. These experiences could take many forms: digital or analogue, from video games to human-size installations, as long as they promote a quality learning that is efficient and fosters well being. As digital technologies disrupt knowledge circulation and transform education, they create new responsibilities. I want my approach to be close to Open and Citizen Science to stimulate innovation. Connecting the public with research, I hope to promote lifelong learning and empower citizens to become active change makers.
