Discussion about iGEM Meta-Analysis and Surveys

This year iGEM teams made a lot of surveys and meta-analysis about iGEM, let's discuss them! Do you know that some teams struggle with the iGEM fees? or... did you know that teams collaborations in iGEM are suboptimal?

The aim of this project is to discuss analytically the data gathered by iGEM teams about initiatives and the themes related to iGEM.

This year the Edinburgh's iGEM team studied how iGEM teams innovate during the competition and how teams use resources, competences and collaboration to overcome the problems faced during the competition.

We gathered useful data that could be beneficial to the iGEM foundation and the iGEM community but we are not the only ones that gathered data, this year several iGEM teams created and shared surveys online on different topics such as the Role of Human Practices or Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

This project is an invitation to all the iGEM 2020 teams to share their data and start an online discussion that could lead to policy reccomendation to the iGEM foundation.
