CCAQ assesses the impact of crisis on individuals. Provided with rationale for adaptation in other surveys, under Creative Commons licence.
Project
The Crisis Coping Assessment Questionnaire (CCAQ) assesses the impact of a crisis on individuals, during the crisis or its aftermath. Questions address the respondent’s situation, degree and forms of stress, coping mechanisms, and social scaffolding. CCAQ was designed to offer a set of standard explanatory variables, and can be used in whole, or in part for inclusion in other specific surveys. Most CCAQ questions are usable in various social and cultural contexts and types of crises (catastrophes, pandemics, floods, earthquakes, armed conflicts). Each question is provided with a short rationale that facilitates adaptation and translation from the original English version, to be used face-to-face, by telephone or online.
